China Media Group’s Tegucigalpa Press Station Inaugurated

China Media Group’s Tegucigalpa Press Station, as the first Chinese media organization based in Honduras jointly approved by the governments of China and Honduras, held an opening ceremony at the Honduras Presidential Palace on March 28, local time. It is the 191st press station set up by China Media Group overseas.
At the opening ceremony, the China Media Group and the Honduras National Radio and Television Station signed a letter of intent for cooperation and exchanges. This is the first cooperation agreement in the media field between China and Honduras after the establishment of diplomatic relations. The two sides will cooperate on establishment of institutions, cooperation mechanisms, program materials, personnel exchanges and industrial cooperation. The Press Office of the Presidential Palace of Honduras sent a congratulatory letter for the establishment of China Media Group’s Tegucigalpa Press Station. The congratulatory letter states that the establishment of the press station will build a bridge for friendship between Honduras and China.
