Dagestan will host two international wrestling tournaments

The last month of spring this year will delight all athletes and fans of Dagestan with several sports competitions at once.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Dagestan, in May 2023 the Ali Aliyev Sports Palace in Kaspiysk will host two international tournaments of freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.

From May 11 to 13, juniors born in 2003-2005 will test themselves in the Greco-Roman wrestling tournament named after Surakat Asiyatilov. More than 150 athletes are expected.

From May 19 to 21, the same hall will host the 53rd International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament in memory of Ali Aliyev. The tournament will bring together about 250 wrestlers from the regions of Russia and neighboring countries.

The tournaments promise to be spectacular and exciting, the regional Ministry of Sports invites all residents and guests of Dagestan to visit them.
