Demand for Chinese-speaking workers up 40%

The demand for Chinese-speaking employees increased by 40% from January to March. Russian universities have expanded their curricula with Chinese language study, RBC reports.
Against the background of strengthening economic cooperation with China, Russian employers began to seek employees who know the Chinese language more often. They offer job seekers between 50,000 and 90,000 rubles, according to HeadHunter. The specialists themselves want to receive from 70,000 rubles.
The highest salary expectations for specialists knowing the Chinese language in Moscow – from 134,000 rubles.

Two Russian universities informed the publication of the expansion of Chinese language programs for engineers, ecologists, computer scientists and tourist guides.

Compared to 2021, the need for specialists with knowledge of the Chinese language has increased by 70%.
