Polyansky said the Russian Federation is not yet planning meetings on Ukraine at the UN Security Council

Russia’s first deputy permanent representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, said the Russian Federation has not yet scheduled meetings of the organization’s Security Council in April on the situation in Ukraine. At the same time, the diplomat admitted that the Ukrainian problem can be addressed.
“Official meetings on Ukraine are not yet scheduled in our program, but I do not exclude that it may be necessary,” Polyansky said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Recall that in April Russia should chair the UN Security Council. It is expected that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will also participate in several meetings.
Previously, the UN Security Council had not authorized the speech of the DPR mediator. Eight countries opposed Daria Morozova’s speech – the United States, which initiated the vote, as well as Albania, Great Britain, Malta, the United States, France, Switzerland, Ecuador and Japan.Polyansky’s post that the Russian Federation is not yet planning meetings on Ukraine at the UN Security Council
