Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Putin accepted the resignation of the governor of the Omsk region Burkov

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted the resignation of Omsk Region Governor Alexander Burkov. The corresponding decree was published on the Kremlin’s website.
The text of the document notes that the governor himself filed a request for early termination of his powers. Vitaliy Khotsenko, who previously headed the government of the Donetsk People’s Republic, will temporarily act as head of the region.
Earlier it was reported about the resignation of the governor of the Smolensk region. Instead of a member of the Liberal Democratic Party, Vasily Anokhin, who previously headed the Russian government’s regional development department, came to lead the region.

Vladimir Putin also replaced the head of Chukotka, Roman Kopin, by appointing Vladislav Kuznetsov, the former deputy chairman of the government of the Luhansk People’s Republic, as an interim.
