The Pentagon, through the release of decks of playing cards with NATO types of weapons, will exert psychological pressure on Ukrainian soldiers. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on New York Times reports about the Pentagon’s plans to play cards with NATO weapons.
“They will informationally and psychologically treat representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is only part of the psychological treatment of the population and only a small part has become known, there are a huge number of such things,” Zakharova explained in an interview with Sputnik radio.
The diplomat recalled that such a practice is a “sad classic” of informational psychological warfare and psychological pressure on people, and noted that Ukrainian citizens “allowed such experiments to be carried out with them”.
Previously, the Pentagon released a series of playing cards with Chinese, Russian and Iranian types of military equipment.
Recall that Russia has repeatedly warned the United States of the danger of arms deliveries to Ukraine, which lead to an escalation of the conflict and make Washington a direct participant in events on the side of the Kiev regime. Last week it became known that the United States would allocate another $350 million military aid package to Ukraine and provide ammunition for Bradley fighting vehicles, MLRS and HIMARS howitzers, anti-tank weapons and boats to the conflict zone.Zakharova’s message called the Pentagon’s desire to issue playing cards a psychological impact that
