Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Armenia did not vote for Ukraine update at ‘Democracy Summit’

Armenia abstained from adopting a paragraph of the “Summit for Democracy” declaration dealing with the situation in Ukraine. Politicians believe that it does not comprehensively reflect all crises and conflicts.
“Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the plenary session of the second Democracy Summit, which is being held via videoconference. The summit was initiated by US President Joe Biden. As a result of the plenary session, a declaration was adopted, to which the Republic of Armenia adhered with a reservation,” the Armenian government said in a statement.
RIA Novosti clarifies that Yerevan did not vote for a paragraph that does not reflect all conflicts and crises comprehensively and comprehensively. The fact is that it did not contain Azerbaijan’s “sick for Armenia” aggression against the state and the occupation of parts of the sovereign territory of Armenia.

Previously, it was known that the wars started by Azerbaijan were also aimed at destroying Armenian culture and history. And the question of security for the country is particularly acute.
