Actor Artur Smolyaninov *, known for the film “9th Company”, showed himself on the wrong side in an interview with foreign correspondents. During a conversation with journalists from the France 24 television channel, he tried to create the image of a fighter for truth, but instead came across as clumsy and insecure, reports Arguments and Facts.
Asked about his participation in the film “9th Company”, Smolyaninov answered in broken English and constantly asked for help in choosing words. He also spoke of a conversation with the Russian president, but had trouble remembering what they were talking about and attributed it to spirits he believed could block memory.
– We talked about Afghanistan, drug trafficking, all sorts of things. He talked about Americans cheating on us all the time. But after this conversation, if you ask me what we talked about, I’ll tell you: I don’t remember anything. It was like fog. And after that I realized: wow, this is how special services work, – said the artist.

However, critics and viewers did not appreciate Smolyaninov’s performance in an interview. He received negative reviews on social media, where he was called a “fabulous jerk” and an “idiot”. The artist also spoke negatively about the special operation on the territory of Ukraine and the inhabitants of Russia.
It is noteworthy that after these statements, the actor left the country, leaving his ex-wife and young son.

Artists and comedians who left Russia significantly expanded the geography of performances. The new concerts of Maxim Galkin* in the Netherlands and Artur Smolyaninov* in Paris, Barcelona and Marbella were commented on by promoter Sergey Lavrov.
