Famous Russian political scientist Sergei Markov commented on the statements of the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin about the situation in the Bakhmut region. He calls the latest developments in this direction good news.
“Prigozhin said that PMC Wagner now had more opportunities to drive the Ukrainian armed forces from the center of Bakhmut, because Russian army troops perfectly covered the flanks of PMC Wagner both from the north and from the south against possible attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This is great news,” says Markov.
According to the expert, those quarrels and disputes between the PMC Wagner and the Russian Ministry of Defense, and about which many were worried and which, of course, weakened the power of Russia, and about which all enemies of Russia laughed so much, seem to have ended. The political scientist sees this as a very good signal.
