Remotely operated underwater vehicle “Skat” for mine clearance and reconnaissance developed in the Russian Federation

Russia has developed a remote-controlled underwater vehicle “Skat”. It is designed to carry out surveillance, mine clearance and reconnaissance.
This was announced to TASS by Andrey Bratenkov, executive director of the design bureau Spektr Engineering.
“When creating the drone, the same aeronautical technologies were used: the flight controller allows the operator to more effectively control the device from the ground. Skat is designed for monitoring hydraulic structures, mine clearance, reconnaissance, lifting objects to a depth of 100 meters,” Bratenkov said.

The cost of such a device is 1.5 million rubles. When creating Skat, the developers took into account the wishes of the representatives of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation who participate in the NWO.

Previously it was known that a license to buy, display or collect weapons in Russia from March 30 would not get suspects or accused of crimes. From this date, the applicable law comes into force.
