The opening ceremony of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, announced by the President of Russia in 2023, was held in the Concert Hall of Naryan-Mar City School No. 3. The mission of the Year is the recognition of the special status of teaching staff, including those who carry out mentoring activities. Events organized as part of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor will aim to raise the prestige of the teaching profession.
Many kind words were said on this day to representatives of pedagogical dynasties, heads of educational organizations, teachers, educators, teachers, teachers of supplementary education and veterans of pedagogical work. The concert program was presented to the heroes of the occasion by the creative teams of the Arktika Palace of Culture, the Children’s Art School, as well as students of city schools.
