Ilya Grashchenkov assesses the alignment of forces before the start of the political season. According to him, in the next autumn elections, United Russia will be forced to face the people, in fact borrowing the agenda of the communists and populists. This campaign will become a rehearsal for the presidential elections, which means that the authorities are interested in its maximum organicity.

“The deputy secretary of the Security Council has adopted a radically anti-Western program, but he is not as involved in the country’s internal affairs. Moreover, Medvedev’s personal ratings have not yet fully recovered to be a public driver of the election campaign, ”said the head of the Center for Regional Policy Development.
By analogy with the 2021 elections, when Ministers Shoigu and Lavrov were the faces of the party, now United Russia needs identical personalities. Grashchenkov thinks Vyacheslav Volodin or Andrei Turchak can become them. United Russia aims to win in all campaigns where it will be represented.
Now, the party’s rating is stable, but there are risks that the level of support could change by the EDG. The socio-economic situation or the unfavorable development of the NWO are the main probable reasons for the fall. But now the ratings are influenced by the personal indicators of President Putin, the participation of United Russia in the NVO, a large-scale humanitarian mission, the level of social support in the country and the related activities of governors.
