The winning projects of the public policy grants competition have been announced

In the Murmansk region, the winning projects of the competition for grants in the field of national state policy were announced. Read more in the material “The Eastern Heraldin Murmansk”.

Thus, 18 projects from non-commercial organizations in the region were recognized as winners. This was reported to the region’s interior policy ministry.

A total of 28 entries were received for the competition. Among the participants were public associations, religious organizations, communities of indigenous peoples of the North – the Saami, Cossack societies. 23 projects were allowed to participate.

According to the results of the commission meeting, 18 NPO projects became winners. Their subject was varied. Funding under the grants will amount to approximately 11 million rubles.

The winners are NGOs from many municipalities in the region: from Kandalaksha, Apatity, Olenegorsk, Murmansk, Severomorsk, Lovozero, Kola, Tuloma, the ministry said.

The department talked about several projects.

One of them was the project “Istok Teenage and Youth Center” of the Orthodox parish of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia of Severomorsk. Thus, as part of the implementation, a traditional national handicraft center will be established. Here, teenagers will be able to work in a carpentry workshop and a national cuisine workshop. The teaching of woodcarving and many other fields will be completely free.

Among the winners were also the project “Let’s be friends with fairy tales” of the Murmansk regional public organization “Club of cynologists and dog therapists “Romanov on Murman” and the Regional Children’s and Youth Library. Here complex fairy tale therapy will be used.
