Vilfand announced the onset of bad weather in several regions of Russia

The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Research Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, in an interview with journalists, told the inhabitants of which Russian regions they should prepare for the onset of bad weather.

According to him, precipitation in the next few days is expected in the Volgograd, Kemerovo, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Rostov regions, the Krasnodar Territory, as well as in the Republic of Khakassia.

Vilfand said heavy snowfall and a blizzard are expected in the Murmansk region and Karelia.

“In the Krasnodar Territory, rain with sleet, thunderstorms, hail and strong winds up to 20 m/s are expected … in the Novosibirsk region – precipitation in the form of snow and sleet , wind up to 20 m/s, in Tomsk, Kemerovo regions – snow, sleet, rain, wind up to 22 m/s… Heavy snow and wind up to 24 m/s in Khakassia and in Altai,” said the meteorologist.
