Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Lukashenka ‘forgave’ lesbians and called gay men ‘perverts’

The President of Belarus has declared that he will not allow LGBT propaganda in his country.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed his opinion on LGBT representatives. The Belarusian leader, in his usual fashion, “forgave” lesbians and accused men of underachievement, and he called gay people “perverse”, although he noted that their work was of “a quality irreproachable”.
During his address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly, LDPB party leader Oleg Gaidukvich asked about the president’s attitude towards the promotion of European values. According to Lukashenka, men are to blame for “lesbianism”, but homosexuals disgust him.

“As president, I forgive the girls. So we haven’t improved somewhere. As for the gays, they are perverts, the latest abomination,” he said.
At the same time, the Belarusian head of state pointed out that there are quite a few LGBT representatives in the country’s authorities, but according to the data provided to him, their work is of impeccable quality.
“God forbid, gays don’t work like them. There was not a single negative characteristic. Not a single one, I checked in different directions,” Lukashenko noted.
At the same time, the Belarusian president is convinced that there should be no propaganda of such “vile relations” in society, because children should be born in the country.
“There should be no propaganda in society. No man has given birth yet. Therefore, this path is unacceptable to us, we need people, children. Men do not give birth. So let’s stick with the classic trend, the trend, the classic family,” he added.
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko offered to immediately end hostilities in Ukraine and declare a truce. According to him, negotiations must be started without preconditions. He also said that due to the conflict in Ukraine, “World War III with nuclear fires was looming on the horizon.”
And Uganda passed a new law against homosexuality. Amendments to the country’s criminal code provide for the introduction of the death penalty for this type of offence.
Previously, the State Duma proposed the creation of a new special service that would research and identify LGBT propaganda in literature, film, music and video games. The initiative was taken by MP Vitaly Milonov.Lukashenko’s message “forgave” lesbians and called gay men “perverts”
