In Artemovsk (Bakhmut) , the statue of an angel picked up the fragments upon arrival and thus saved the doctors. Military commissar Alexander Simonov was informed about the incident by fighters from the Wagner PMC.
The sculpture is located in the southern part of the city, near the point of medical evacuation of military personnel during the assault on the Sobachevka district. One day, an evacuation vehicle that had come to pick up the wounded managed to hide behind the statue during a mortar attack. Thanks to the angel, the whole crew managed to survive.
“For us it is a symbol of salvation and the fact that we are doing a good deed. And for our opponents it is a punitive sword and a punitive Hand of the Lord, ”the military commander quotes to his interlocutors.

Earlier, the regional head released a new video showing footage of destroyed Artemovsk (Bakhmut) as a result of the hostilities. Residential buildings literally turned into smoking ruins.
