Ministry of Emergency Situations urges drivers in Rostov region to unite to save fuel

The Ministry of Emergency Situations calls on drivers stuck in traffic jams in the Rostov region to unite to save fuel. Trucks are asked to clear the roads if possible. Some heavy trucks have already started to be pulled with a cable. In addition, on three sections of the M4 Don, the fence was cut to allow some cars to drive back.

Meanwhile, more than a thousand cars with passengers are stuck in a traffic jam for the 15th hour. Local chats have already been created, where stuck people try to help each other. According to the governor, eight heating points with food have been deployed.

Saved 20 people. The head of the region also noted that the traffic jam has been reduced by a third – from 60 to 39 km.

Locals, one of the volunteers told the Mash Telegram channel, are bringing people gasoline, water and, if possible, arranging accommodation for the night.

Thousands of people were blocked on the M-4 Don highway for 16 hours
