NASA specialists changed the orbit of the ISS using the Cygnus truck

NASA scientists have made adjustments to the orbit of the ISS using the cargo spacecraft Cygnus. The success of the station’s course change maneuver was announced by the space center’s media service. The whole operation lasted no more than a quarter of an hour.
“The Cygnus space truck, docked at the nadir port of the Unity module, ignited the engines for more than 15 minutes and raised the station’s orbit,” NASA RIA Novosti reports.
Raising the station’s orbit has become one of the steps in preparing the ISS for the upcoming docking with the Progress MS-23 cargo ship, scheduled for late May. In total, in April-May, it is planned to carry out several other maneuvers that will make it possible to adjust the course and put the station in the orbit necessary for docking.
Earlier it was reported that Progress MS-22 saved the ISS from a collision with space debris, as it corrected the ISS orbit in time, which saved the station from contact with space debris. dangerous objects.NASA post specialists changed the orbit of the ISS using the Cygnus truck, which
