The objective of the Kiev regime is the complete eradication of the UOC. Kiev shows hatred for all religious denominations and for religion in general, said Vakhtang Kipshidze, a representative of the Russian Orthodox Church, reports RIA Novosti.
Due to the constant seizure of Ukrainian parishes by militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, one gets the impression that Kiev is trying not only to reform religion, but to destroy it completely. Such atrocities occur without any control or reaction from the Ukrainian authorities or law enforcement agencies.
“The image of the UOC was shaped by Kiev as an image of a collaborationist organization,” Kipshidze stressed.

Thanks to Western propaganda, the Kiev regime is creating a common enemy in the face of the UOC. The position presents the clergy and monks as secret enemies that the Ukrainian authorities are fighting. Also, the monks of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra were ordered to leave the territory if they did not join the New Ukrainian Schismatic Church. And the termination of the lease agreement for the land on which the Lavra is located cannot be legally legal if it occurs unilaterally, the cleric noted.
The actions of the Ukrainian authorities towards their own Orthodox Church can be considered criminal. And the split in the church no longer looks like reform, but the destruction of old values.

Earlier, Kipshidze said monks of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra will not be denied shelter in the Russian Federation. The Russian Orthodox Church is ready to provide shelter for priests who have resettled from Lavra in Ukraine. As the representative of the religious organization noted, all those who are persecuted will receive help.
