The governor of the Rostov region announced the establishment of a state of emergency in some districts and cities of the region. He made this decision due to bad weather conditions.
“In connection with the current situation, I have decided to introduce a state of emergency in Shakhty, Belokalitvinsky, Kamensky, Krasnosulinsky and Oktyabrsky districts,” Golubev said on his Telegram channel.
An unfavorable situation has developed on the federal highway M-4-Don, some sections are completely closed to traffic, motorists are trapped in snow. At the same time, the operational and emergency services are doing everything they can to help citizens: heating points have been deployed, heavy equipment has been sent to clear the road.
Additional measures are taken to normalize the situation, the cable fence on the middle strip is cut to restart traffic.
