Finland will become a full member of NATO in the next few days. This was announced by the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg.
“Finland will officially join the alliance in the next few days,” Stoltenberg said in a video message.
Recall that on March 23, Finnish President Sauli Niinistö signed the laws for the country’s accession to NATO, thus completing the ratification of the Helsinki initiative.
On the night of March 31, the Turkish parliament approved Finland’s NATO accession protocol.
