The Ministry of Transport of the Rostov region announced when traffic on the M-4 Don will be fully restored

Traffic on the section of the M-4 Don highway in the Rostov region can be restored in 8-10 hours. This was reported to the area Department of Transportation.
“The situation on the M-4 highway in the Rostov region continues to improve. According to current forecasts, the recovery time for traffic along the M-4 in its entirety will not be around a day, as previously thought, but around 8-10 hours,” the message from the department on the Telegram channel.
It should be noted that 62 units of special equipment help to eliminate the consequences of snowfall on the 907-983 km stretch of the M-4 Don highway. Thanks to the efforts made, the traffic jam has already been halved.
Earlier, on the M-4 Don highway, more than a thousand cars got stuck in a traffic jam due to heavy snowfall. Today, the movement has begun to recover. Temporary accommodation points have been set up on several sections of the route, where there are hot tea and food, sockets to recharge devices and heat to keep warm.
