The procedure for collecting pensions and social benefits for Russian citizens abroad has been established

The government has established the procedure for collecting pensions and social benefits for Russian citizens living abroad. They will be able to receive funds in rubles in accounts they open in Russian or foreign banks.

According RG.RU , this applies to old-age and invalidity pensions, benefits related to accidents at work, occupational diseases. To receive payments, you will need an application from a citizen or his representative. It can be submitted in writing or electronically, indicating bank details.

Currently, there are sanctions that have significantly complicated the transfer of funds abroad. For example, Visa and Mastercard cards have ceased to be served abroad. This violated the usual regime for collecting pensions by Russian citizens living outside its borders.

The transfer of pension payments abroad in rubles in Russian banks or to ruble accounts in other banking institutions makes it possible to simplify the receipt of funds by citizens.
