The Al Hanzab Center for the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences held an honorary ceremony for the winners of the Sheikha Haya Bint Nasser Al Thani (may God have mercy on her soul) competition (with a clear Arabic tongue), which in its third edition for the year 2023 carried the slogan (Love of the homeland is faith), in the middle of last week at the Messila Hotel. in Doha. The competition exams were launched on the eleventh of March for the current year 2023, and 153 contestants from various schools and centers in the State of Qatar applied for the exam, and the number of winners reached 28 male and female winners, in addition to honoring 26 contestants with consolation prizes, and this competition comes in support of what was stated by Law No. (7) of 2019 issued by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, may God protect him, to protect and support the Arabic language in the State of Qatar. Through her speech at the ceremony, Dr. Noura bint Ali Al Hanzab, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Executive Director of the Center, congratulated the winners, and stressed the importance of adhering to the Arabic language, the language of the Holy Qur’an, and indicated that this competition; And similar ones come within the framework of the center’s endeavor to encourage male and female students to learn Arabic (the language of the Holy Qur’an) and to compete in its various fields, praying to God Almighty for success for the winners. I also extended my sincere thanks and praise to the families of the participants, and to all those in charge of the competition.
