Cemeteries in the Moscow region will be laid out after winter

In the suburbs, the days of mass visits to cemeteries are being prepared

After the snow melts, many residents of the Moscow region will begin to visit and put in order the graves of deceased relatives. For a comfortable visit to the graves of the Moscow region, cemeteries and surroundings will be improved. This was reported in the main department of regional security of the Moscow region.

On the territory of cemeteries, workers will remove garbage, repair and paint cemeteries and benches, put in order the entrances to burial places, as well as sidewalks and bus stops. In addition, specialists will carry out the sanitary felling of trees, the transport of sand, process water and the updating of equipment.

A large number of visits to cemeteries are expected on Palm Sunday, Krasnaya Gorka, Radonitsa, Victory Day and Holy Trinity Day. County governments are organizing free express routes to major cemeteries and adding buses to existing routes.
