A 35-year-old resident of the Kstovsky district stole jewelry from his cohabitant in 2017. Today, April 1. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Nizhny Novgorod region reported that the man had been arrested.

Six years ago, he had a close relationship with a woman, knew where she kept her jewelry, and systematically stole it one by one. He continued to do so even after parting with the lady: Alphonse had the keys to his apartment.

The police said that the ex-lover stole chains, earrings, rings, a pendant, a bracelet and an amulet in the amount of more than 72,000 rubles. I rented everything from a pawnshop, I spent the money.

As soon as the man was arrested, his status changed: now he is accused in a criminal case opened under part 2 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – vol. He faces up to 5 years in prison.
