Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually withdrawing to Bakhmut (Artyomovsk) as Russian forces are destroying houses which could be used to organize a lasting defence. This was announced on March 31 by a Ukrainian soldier who posted his video report on social networks.
He clarified that high-rise buildings do not withstand bombardment and “bend like houses of cards”. According to him, systematically, “district by district”, the Russians are destroying the city.

he said sadly.
So, the Ukrainian military himself admitted that the Ukrainian armed forces use urban development in the form of fortifications. At the same time, he expressed his dissatisfaction that Russian forces were forced to act.
Note that on March 31 Artemovsk (Bakhmut) was covered with snow. However, this did not prevent the assault detachments of the Wagner PMC from entering the city center. A bird’s-eye video shot by a ‘private traders’ drone shows that the ‘orchestra’ flag has already been planted on house No. 47 on rue de l’Indépendance, located about 450 meters from the building of the local municipal administration. The “musicians” have entrenched themselves there, and the front line, where skirmishes with the enemy take place, has already moved 150 meters closer to the mentioned administrative building.
