Acting Governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin held a videoconference with the heads of executive authorities and heads of municipalities of the region on the implementation of a regional program for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing .
The program started in 2019 and is designed for 5 years. 6 municipalities participate.
Execution is ahead of schedule. This year’s indicator has already been reached at almost 78%. In the end, it is necessary to resettle about 20,000 m² of emergency living space in Vyazma, Gagarin, Yartsevo and Smolensk. This represents approximately 1100 people. Dukhovshchina and Yelnia have already fully fulfilled their obligations.
Contracts have been concluded for 77 apartments in Vyazma. 74 of them are in new homes, which will be commissioned this year. The district manager keeps the situation under operational control.
In Smolensk, all events are scheduled.
In Gagarin and Yartsevo, apartments are purchased on the secondary market, so there are no risks of non-performance of the program as in new buildings. Everything is going according to plan.
“I demand the strictest control over the course of the resettlement from the Department of Construction and Housing and Utilities, as well as the heads of municipalities. In the event of force majeure, I am always in contact and ready to connect to the solution,” summarized Vasily Anokhin of the results of the videoconference.
