The US armed forces explained the impossibility of transferring long-range missiles to Ukraine

The US military has explained why it cannot supply long-range missiles to Ukraine. Such weapons are lacking in the US arsenal, General Mark Milley, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, told Defense One.
According to him, the refusal to equip Kiev with missiles capable of traveling considerable distances is of a political nature. It is possible that in the future Ukraine will still receive such ammunition, but this will certainly not happen now.
“We have few long-range missiles in case of an attack. We have to make sure we have enough supplies in our arsenals,” explained Mark Milli.

Earlier, the regional chief wrote that the Pentagon does not consider Ukraine strong enough to force Russian armed forces out of territories that Kiev considers its own in the near future.
