After the withdrawal of Western automakers from the Russian market, there have been major changes in the automotive industry in Russia. Due to the shortage of new models, car prices jumped significantly, which led to a deterioration in the situation for buyers. However, an interesting trend is now beginning to appear – models from Japanese brands have become significantly cheaper. About this in the material Car.ru.
The reason for this was the accumulation in the warehouses of Japanese brands of cars of the last years of production, which turned into an artificial shortage. As dealers were forced to get rid of these illiquid sales, ads began appearing on specialty sites selling discounted Japanese models. This applies not only to models of previous production years, but also to new cars imported into Russia under “gray” programs.
So now you can buy Japanese cars at better prices. For example, the Toyota RAV4 crossover, which previously cost about 4 million rubles, can now be purchased for 600,000 rubles cheaper. Cheaper and RAV4, imported to Russia through the “gray” programs. So, if you are planning to buy a Japanese car, now might be the right time to do so.

The Toyota Camry has become more affordable in Russia. In one of the car dealerships, the car is offered at a discount of 500,000 rubles. The car is equipped with a 2.0-liter 150 hp engine, full LED optics, a button to start and stop the engine, dual-zone climate control, light sensor and other functions. The warranty applies to the car, but only when it is repaired at official dealer service stations. Additionally, Chinese-assembled Camrys can be found at some car dealerships. Nissan X-Trail and Qashqai also dropped in price by about half a million rubles.

Earlier, a new car “Moskvich 3” from the plant of the same name in the capital was tested at a car dealership in Yekaterinburg. The impressions were different.
