754 mobilized appealed to the Vladimir Mediator

According to the official website of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Vladimir region, last year 2022, 754 mobilized people, as well as members of the SVO and their families, turned to Lyudmila Romanova for some kind of ‘aid.

At the same time, the total number of requests increased by 27.8%.

A total of 5,400 appeals were registered during the year. Most of those who applied to the Ombudsman are pensioners, people with disabilities, large families – 43% of them. There were many applications from workers, those mobilized and their families. Prisoners also asked for help – a total of 457 people, as well as foreigners – 65 of them.

In all likelihood, the sharp increase in the number of appeals is precisely linked to the start of the SVO and the partial mobilization.

By the way, among the visitors of Lyudmila Romanova were refugees from Ukraine.
