Russia: In 33 regions, the list of benefits for large families has been increased

According to information from the Regional Legislative Assembly, since April 1, the list of large beneficiary families has grown by 290 families. And all because now residents with disabled children, as well as children under 18 or 23, who are full-time university students, will also receive benefits. 78 million rubles will be allocated in the budget for this.

We note that this should have happened a little earlier. The decision to extend the status of having many children to families whose eldest are university students was taken in May 2022. But the law only started to apply from the beginning of this year, for serious expense has been caused to the agricultural and food industries as a result of the sanctions.
