Media: Arab airlines again accept Visa and MasterCard from Russian banks

A number of Arab airlines are once again accepting Visa and MasterCard from Russian banks, the Izvestia newspaper reports.

In particular, air carriers such as Emirates, Air Arabia and Fly Dubai are mentioned.

Now you can use Visa and MasterCard from Russian banks to pay for flights on these airlines. A similar opportunity offered by Turkish Airlines has also been previously reported.

Additionally, the newspaper writes, Air Arabia allows you to pay for flights through the Fast Payment System (FPS). The mechanism is as follows – the passenger makes a reservation, after which he contacts the support service for a link to make a payment, which is made through the airline’s representative in Russia. There is a 6% commission for the operation.

A similar mechanism is offered by Fly Dubai, but with a fixed commission of 2,000 rubles. Emirates prefers to use a QR code system with details.
