Qatar University Publishing House is participating in the exhibition, as part of its contribution as one of the Qatari publishing houses in the localization of the book and the promotion of the role of reading and its importance in people’s lives, as well as its impact on the cultural and literary movement in the State of Qatar. Sheikha Sheikha Ahmed Al Thani, Head of Marketing and Sales Department at Qatar University Publishing House, told Al Sharq that participation in the second edition of the exhibition reflects the house’s interest and keenness to be present in this cultural event, which has a peculiarity as it takes place in the month of Ramadan, and she expressed her happiness to participate in the edition. The second edition of the exhibition, noting that the Qatar University Publishing House displays 43 publications in its pavilion, and that the most recent publications of the house are: the book “Introduction to the Science of Law”, “Civil Contracts in Qatari Civil Law”, and the book “Qatari Commercial Law”, in addition to The book “Al-Wajeez in Insurance and Personality in Qatari Law”. Al-Shiha Sheikha Al-Thani added: Qatar University Press is keen to develop publishing through open access, as we will soon publish the book “History and the Narrative Imagination in the Arab Novel” and the book “Social Sciences in the Arab World.” Also, all the magazines of the house are available on our website (Journal of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Journal of International Law, Jaseer Journal, and Anasaq Magazine.) Qatar University Publishing House is one of the most important strategic initiatives of Qatar University, and an important tributary for the various national institutions, as well as a qualitative step in Building a knowledge society.
