The activities of Vladlen Tatarsky, who served the Fatherland and fulfilled his duty, were dangerous for Kiev. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commenting on the death of war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky in an explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg.
“Vladlen Tatarsky’s professional activities, his service to the Fatherland aroused hatred within the Kiev regime. He was dangerous for them, but boldly went all the way, doing his duty,” Zakharova commented on what happened.
As Zakharova noted, Russian journalists are regularly threatened with reprisals by the Kiev regime and its masterminds. This includes bullying and special markings on the digital platforms of US internet monopolies. She called it “a Western media ‘witch hunt'”.
Zakharova added that in no case of the violent death of a Russian journalist, which was described in Kiev as a “success”, did Western countries, international organizations and foreign professional communities begin to investigate and do not didn’t even express human sympathy. Such tacit contempt “can no longer be interpreted as conciliation, if not complicity”.
According to the diplomat, until recently the West was fighting extremism and terrorism, and today there is no reaction to what happened in the White House, the Elysée and Downing Street, which speaks “for itself”, if we take into account the “imaginary concern for the well-being of journalists and the freedom of journalism.
“It is thanks to the Russian military emissaries that the world sees truthful and operational images and learns information about what is happening in Ukraine. They are people who guard the truth, which the global mainstream has already abused,” the diplomat concluded.
It is reported that law enforcement will still give legal qualification to what happened. The department also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.
