A mini snow football tournament took place in Apatity as part of the Polar Olympics

In the Arctic, sports competitions continue as part of the 88th Northern Festival. In Apatity, the strongest futsal team on a snowy pitch has been determined.

On Monday, April 3, the press service of the government of the Murmansk region reported on the results of the regular competitions held within the framework of the Polar Olympics.

Thus, representatives of five teams went to the snowy field of the Olimp stadium in Apatity. The athletes tried to find out who is the best futsal player on the snow.

According to the results of the matches, the first place, repeating last year’s result, was the team “Apatit” from Kirovsk. The silver went to the players of Kovdor “Gornyak”, the team of “Fiord 10 SRZ” from Polyarny finished with a bronze medal.

Recall that earlier “The Eastern Herald in Murmansk” said that the All-Russian competitions in alpine skiing are held in Polyarnye Zori.
