Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

A resident of Kursk lost 100,000 rubles by posting an ad for the sale of a dress online

A 45-year-old resident of Kursk posted an ad on the Internet for the sale of her daughter’s prom dress. Later, a buyer contacted the woman. He offered to continue the communication in the messenger.

The attacker asked to arrange delivery of the goods, promising to pay the full cost, the Interior Ministry’s press service reported. The interlocutor sent the woman a link, clicking on which the woman filled in all the fields, including her credit card details.

However, the money never arrived. Along with this, 17,000 rubles disappeared from the card. Kuryanka asked the stranger to clarify the situation. He, citing a technical error, asked to repeat the procedure.

Suspecting fraud, the woman opened the banking application and saw several operations to write off funds for a total of 100,000 rubles. Frightened, the victim blocked the card and contacted the police. A criminal case has been opened on this fact.
