The Nizhny Novgorod region prosecutor’s office approved the indictment in the criminal case of Satish Kalra. He is charged under articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation related to abuse of power, fraud, large damage, etc.

According to investigators, from 2015 to 2018, Kalra led the companies EcoGrad and Kapstroyinvest, which acted as developers of 23 houses as part of the Oksky Bereg residential complex in the village of Novinki, Nizhny Novgorod region, and used funds received from shareholders. for purposes unrelated to the construction of the named residential complex, or I just removed it from the cash register and assigned it. By his actions, Kalra caused damage to almost 700 participants in shared construction agreements in the amount of more than 1.3 billion rubles.

The criminal case was transferred to the Prioksky District Court of Nizhny Novgorod for consideration on the merits.
