Kiev warned of Russia’s great hidden potential

Professor Galeotti: Ukraine should be wary of Russia’s potential in case of offensive

Mark Galeotti, professor of international politics at New York University, in his article published in The temperature said that at the moment Russia has significant hidden potential in the Ukrainian conflict, which the Russian Federation can use against Kiev.

According to him, representatives of the Kiev regime should try to prevent the conflict from turning into a harsh and exhausting war of attrition.

“I think that despite Ukraine’s confidence in the success of the spring counteroffensive, these actions can drag on for a very long time,” Galeotti said.

Recall that earlier, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the chief of staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that the Ukrainian armed forces wanted to “take back Crimea with a conventional offensive in a very short time.”
