The dispute over the construction of a mosque on the holy lake is intended to confuse the Russians. Marat Alimov, the chairman of the religious organization of Moscow Muslims “Mercy”, shared his opinion.
“I do not at all understand such statements when a special operation is underway. On the contrary, everyone should unite. We, for example, rejoice on the contrary when churches are built. There is a fifth column that constantly drives us into a kind of wedge, because of this, we mark time in one place, ”quotes the NSN newspaper quoting the interlocutor.
The President of MROM recalled: Russia is a multinational country. Therefore, attempts by external forces to divide peoples through internal conflicts are not surprising. It is especially unpleasant that this happens during Ramadan.

Alimov also said he had not seen any documents confirming plans to build a mosque in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district.

The day before, the Orthodox came to another gathering at the holy lake with the intention of preventing the construction of the mosque. The conflict between Orthodox and Muslims has divided the community of MMA fighters.
