Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Putin signed laws on the integration of new regions into the Russian judicial system

President Vladimir Putin has signed laws on the integration of new Russian entities into the Russian judicial system. The documents published on the official legal information Internet portal refer to a set of eight laws on the establishment of courts in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The first block of laws provides for the establishment of supreme and arbitration courts in the DPR and LPR, as well as regional and arbitration courts in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. In addition, garrison, interdistrict, district and city military courts will appear on the territory of the new regions of the country.
It also provides for the selection of candidates for the initial composition of the federal common law courts and the arbitral tribunal. It will be organized on a competitive basis by the Higher Qualification Council of Judges of the Russian Federation.
Recall that on September 27, referendums on joining Russia were held on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions controlled by Russian forces. Already on September 30, agreements were signed in the Kremlin on the admission of new territories to the Russian Federation. The documents were signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and heads of regions Denis Pushilin, Leonid Pasechnik, Evgeny Balitsky and Vladimir Saldo.Laws signed by Putin on integrating new regions into the Russian justice system
