Russia will no longer pay contributions to the OSCE PA

Russia refuses to make contributions to the budget of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation (OSCE PA). The corresponding decision was taken by the State Duma Council, said State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.
Meetings were held in the State Duma, during which the council discussed the issue of contributions to the budget of the assembly. It was decided in 2023 to suspend payments, and those made in that year will be credited to that year.
“We are facing attempts to obstruct the work of our delegation to the OSCE PA. We should not pay for what we did not participate in, ”said Volodin, whose words are quoted by the press service of the State Duma.

In addition, the Chairman of the State Duma added that if the Russian delegation is not allowed to work again this year, Russia will demand the return of what it paid into the budget of the OSCE PA plus early.
