The exclusive Stinger Tribute Edition celebrates Kia’s vision

Kia has announced the details of the tribute edition of the new and very exclusive “Kia Stinger” car, which is characterized by distinctive specifications. Limited to just 1,000 models worldwide, the Tribute Edition is a message of appreciation and tribute to Kia’s vision of high performance, and celebrates Stinger’s contribution to the brand’s large sedan segment since its introduction in 2017, with the end of the production career of this flagship model. Based on the Kia Stinger’s 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 GT, this tribute version takes the sedan’s aesthetic and sportiness to new levels. In addition to the existing Ascot Green paint finish, customers will have the opportunity to choose a new Moonscape Gray matte finish. Further sophistication is provided by the black finish adorning the exterior mirror’s sleek housings, striking black Brembo brake calipers and 19-inch gloss black wheels. “The Stinger Tribute Edition marks an important chapter in Kia’s high-performance story,” said Chang Seung-ryu, Senior Vice President and Head of Purchasing, CX Design Subdivision. Featuring an exclusive color scheme and interior design never seen before in a sedan, this car is a fitting celebration of the Stinger’s contribution to the Kia brand.” Inside, it features a hand-picked array of design and material upgrades that contribute to the sporty ambiance of the Stinger’s spacious, technology-packed cabin. The bespoke terracotta brown leather enhances and adds a special aesthetic to the sport seat, and the timeless look extends to more features that include the steering wheel, side door trim and door handles. Kia designers added a carbon-effect finish to the upper console lid and door panels, to complement the new terracotta leather trim. A wasp logo has been neatly added to the headrest of the passenger seats. This distinctive embossing is at the same time a reference to the car’s name, and is an indication of the precise response of the 3.3-litre, twin-turbocharged, six-cylinder petrol engine. The application of a numbered door sill plate on the driver’s side provides the advantage of exclusivity, ensuring that only 1,000 units will be built globally. Chang Song Ryu added: “As we enter a new era of mobility, Kia will meet the needs of customers who seek to enjoy high levels of dynamic driving pleasure, by introducing high-performance electric models such as the EV6 GT. The brand’s strategy to continue to accelerate the development of innovative electric technologies is a guarantee that sustainability and strong performance can be easily combined under the Kia logo and umbrella.”
