The Russian Foreign Ministry has informed that the split of Orthodoxy in Ukraine is Washington’s goal. This was reported in the official telegram channel of the Russian department.
It is no secret that the Zelenskyy regime is not independent in its anticlerical policy. The splitting of Orthodoxy, a blow to this sphere of life is the goal that was proclaimed long ago in Washington, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The main diplomatic department of the Russian Federation noted that the seizure of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is illegal from a legal point of view, and also immoral from a spiritual point of view. Such an act demonstrates the criminality of the rhetoric of the Kiev authorities, their willingness to disregard the rights and feelings of Ukrainians.

It is clarified that an attempt to separate the Ukrainian church from Russia was under Poroshenko. Since then, Kiev has made anti-Orthodox policy one of its tools for promoting nationalist values.
