Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The water pipe connecting the Rostov region with the Donbass began to take water from the Don

A new conduit connecting the Rostov region and the Donbass began to take water from the Don River. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. As explained in the department, the water artery begins in the Channel region of Kalancha in the Don delta.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the hydraulic structure will go to the Seversky Donets-Donbass Canal. Work on the construction of a new water pipe was carried out around the clock. Several thousand builders took part in it. Now the military builders have started taking water from the Don, which will fill the storage tanks.
The first of the pumping stations was launched. The heart of the Rostov-on-Don conduit – the Seversky Donets – beats the Donbass Canal. These are two chains of 200 km each, as well as seven pumping stations
– quotes the words of the head of the project of the military construction complex of the RF Ministry of Defense Alexei Leonov, the newspaper Izvestia.

According to Alexei Leonov, in the near future, the storage tanks will have to be gradually filled with water, the cleaning system will be launched and hydraulic tests will be carried out.

As the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation pointed out, before starting work on the construction of a new water pipeline, large-scale demining of the area had to be carried out. Ukrainian nationalists mined almost a third of the route along which the new water pipe was to pass.
It should be noted that water supply is one of the most acute problems facing the residents of Donetsk and its surroundings.
