Today, April 2, there was an explosion in a bar on Universitetskaya Embankment. As a result of the attack, war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky, a popular blogger covering the special operation in Ukraine, was killed. It is known that Tatarsky organized a creative evening.
According to a number of sources in Russian media, a statue given to the military commander was packed with explosives. She, according to available but unconfirmed data, was brought to the bar by a young girl, handed over to one of the organizers, and then left the institution. Presumably, the girl’s visit took place at 5:25 p.m. local time.
The girl who brought the box with the statue has been identified as Darya Trepova (Daria Trepova) , born in 1997, who lives in Pushkin, not far from Saint Petersburg. A native of the northern capital has been seen in illegal activities before. Together with her husband Dmitry Trepov, she was arrested due to an anti-war rally in February 2022. In addition, Daria is on the lists of FBK* and Navalny supporters.
According to the VChK OGPU telegram channel, the woman is registered at the address of her grandmother, who has the surname Stepanova, but since 2021. The woman studied at the Faculty of Economics at the University of State of St. Petersburg, worked in a polyclinic and a clinic, and was also listed in a certain Allen LLC. It is reported that she was a frequent customer of SDEK delivery and also ordered food delivery at the CEC Expoforum in St. Petersburg.
Right now, security forces are storming Daria’s apartment and officers are talking to her mother and sister.
