In Stavropol, the stars of the Red Army will be restored to the graves of veterans of World War II

Stavropol is preparing for the 78th anniversary of the Great Victory, the sanitary days of the environmental and patriotic project “Pure Memory” begin in the city, the press service of the city administration reported.

Before the May holidays, an audit of military memorials and burials will take place in the regional capital. Students and activists on the territory of the Danilovsky cemetery will put in order the graves of servicemen and veterans, as well as monuments and obelisks of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War.

According to the mayor of the city Ivan Ulyanchenko, in addition to clearing the necropolis, stars will be updated on each tombstone of the heroes. Artists will restore the Victory Wall in the area of ​​​​Clinical Hospital No. 2 of the city, as well as the mural on the wall of the Stavropol Dairy Plant on Serov Street.
