The Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, organized a symposium entitled “Knowledge Openness and its Impact on the Family”, as part of the events accompanying the exhibition, which was held in the main theater at Darb Al-Saai headquarters. Participated in the symposium were Dr. Mohamed Abdel Karim, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, and the symposium stressed the importance of caution against this openness, and that benefiting from it should be to an extent that is compatible with the regulations of Islamic law, in order to preserve society and its individuals. She emphasized the importance of this openness being governed by religious controls, so that the information provided by social media or other means of openness is not given, which may carry with it destructive ideas, affecting the family, undermining its pillars, and then negatively affecting its members. The symposium also stressed the importance of family cohesion being an impenetrable fortress against any destructive ideas, or others that seek to prejudice this family cohesion, or work to dismantle it.
