April 4 was a big day for BTS Jimin! The singer was recognized as the only Korean solo artist to top the US Top 100. The idol achieved phenomenal success thanks to her painstaking work and with the track “Like Crazy”. It was this composition that made the guy the absolute leader among South Korean k-pop artists.
Jimin decided to celebrate such a joyful event with his fans and launched a short broadcast on Weverse (a global platform for fan communities). The singer thanked ARMY, his team and his colleagues who have always supported and believed in his talent. The whole broadcast on Path was showered with congratulations and compliments, and the singer’s father did not step aside. The parent noted that he was very proud of his son and always knew he would succeed.
After his dad’s warm words, Jimin said the parent’s reaction to the “Face” album wasn’t so clear and even made Park Hyun Sun (the singer’s dad) shed a tear. “He told me he felt sad and started crying,” the idol said on a live broadcast and immediately told the surprised audience the reason for his father’s tears. It turns out that Park Hyung Sun was moved by the lyrics of the album’s song. As the man told his son, the composition was too sad, and he could not hold back his tears.
