At what age do you start doing combat sports?
I started martial arts at the age of 5. My mother sent me to the taekwondo section, but I hardly remember anything from there. I worked for 1.5 years. And from the age of eight, I started kickboxing.
What made you take up this particular sport?
I had a kickboxing section nearby. I don’t know, my mother sent me there.
Do you remember your first win and your first loss?
At the first competitions, I remember, I was prosecuted… I was prosecuted because it was necessary to “promote” a pupil of one of the main judges. And as a consolation prize, they offered me a webcam.
Recently, you started playing in the “Our Trade” fighting league. Very soon you will have to fight with Shamil “Godfather” Galimov. How do you rate your opponent and your chances of winning?
In the octagon, I always go out to win. And this fight will be no exception. I will also enter this fight motivated to win. Moreover, this is my debut in “Our profession” – I have to show myself. I consider “Godfather” to be a good boxer, but there is nothing supernatural about him. I know my style will be very uncomfortable for “Godfather”. You will already see everything in the octagon.
Are there any Our Business League fighters you would like to face off against in the octagon?
I know Our cause can attract any fighter and I can fight anyone, anyone, any media chief. I’m ready to hit everyone. But for myself, I have set myself a goal and a guideline that I want to win the title in Our Business, so let the organization give me opponents: no matter who is there, I am ready to fight with absolutely any opponent.
Do you have combat sports idols that you would like to look up to?
There are no idols, but since my youth, from the age of 15-16, I have been inspired and somewhat motivated by Conor McGregor. Achieving success, the path he traveled, the person who became a star… You can’t call him an idol, but he was the person who inspired me in my youth.
